I grew up in Taiwan during the 80's and moved to beautiful Vancouver with my family in 1997. I have always loved to draw and create using my hands, and my mom has always encouraged me to take drawing lessons and signed me up for pottery classes during my summer vacations.
My Secret Cravings is based out of my home in Vancouver. The idea of combining clay with jewelry did not occur to me until the summer of 2011, when I was planning my wedding. I was looking for a cake topper that was available on the market, but found nothing that I liked. So, since I had the clay molding skills, I started to make my own topper. I received a lot of positive feedback from friends and family, and with the leftover clay, I decided to try making them into wearable food items. People told me to sell my items on Etsy, and that is how it all began.
I was first a graphic designer, then a jewelry designer. I am constantly inspired by a variety of beautiful objects, including typography, interior design, and of course, food... I hope you enjoy wearing my jewelry and accessory as much as I enjoyed making them!
